Welcome to my salon! My name is Aisha and I'm here to tell you about the importance of embracing your curls. Growing up, my family never knew what to do with my curly hair. But that never stopped them from making sure I looked my best. I was in braids all the time until I was around seven years old. That's when I told them I wanted to wear my hair out.

This began my curly journey. I didn't always have the best hairdos, but I kept trying different products and learning what worked best for my hair. I started to become fascinated with all the different types and textures of curly hair, and even studied the curls of my sister who has a tighter curl than me.

I eventually graduated from Avalon Institute and I knew I wanted to focus on curly hair. I practiced techniques on mannequins and studied all the curl types and techniques at More Than Curly for two years. Now, I'm here to help all curlies understand and embrace their unique curl patterns. So don't be afraid to embrace your curls and show them off!
