Let me tell you why embracing your curls is important. When I was growing up, my family never knew what to do with my curly hair. But that never stopped them from making sure I looked my best. I was in braids all the time until I was around seven years old. That's when I told them I wanted to wear my hair out.

This began my curly journey. I didn't always have the best hairdos, but I kept trying different products and learning what worked best for my hair. I became fascinated by the different types and textures of curly hair, and even studied the curls of my sister, who has tighter curls than I do.

I eventually graduated from Avalon Institute, and I knew I wanted to focus on curly hair. I’ve been doing curly hair for 5 years now, and I absolutely love helping all curlies understand and embrace their unique curl patterns. So don't be afraid to embrace your curls and show them off!
